A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) was founded in 1972 to support and nurture our community’s most vulnerable children and families. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our service area. CFA is seeking Master’s level Mental Health Clinicians to join our growing team in Mid-Eastern Connecticut.

Requirements of the Mental Health Clinician
  • Master's Degree in a Social Service-related field ​(MSW, Marriage & Family Therapy, MA in Counseling, Psychology, etc.)
  • Mental Health / Counseling Experience (clinical internship)
  • Must be a licensed mental health counselor (​LMSW, PCa, MFTa, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)

Responsibilities of the Mental Health Clinician
  • Treat and diagnose clients
  • Develop treatment and diagnostic plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary, clinical team
  • Actively participate in supervision
  • Complete documentation in compliance with licensing requirements

Salaries begin at $50,000 for outpatient settings $52,000-$55,000 for community-based and child welfare programs. An $8,000 sign-on bonus is being offered to successful candidates ($4,000 in your first month and $4,000 after 6 months). Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred with significant pay differential offered.
