Denver Rescue Mission exists to change lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens. We do this by meeting the needs of those suffering in poverty and homelessness through resources such as emergency services, rehabilitation, transitional programs, and community outreach.
Work with Accounting team to gain understanding of all Denver Rescue Mission processes and programs, assist in completion of monthly reconciliation of key accounts, maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all financial and accounting activities, assist in preparation of financial documents and reports associated with state and other grants, prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and research/variance analysis, assist Accounting and Donation Processing with data entry projects, performs other duties as assigned.
Seeking someone who is highly proactive, organized, and flexible. Must be at least 20+ years of age to Intern with us. Interns are not just college students - all walks of life (20+) accepted.
Part-time (min of 15 hrs/week) and Full-time (40 hrs/week) positions available. For Full-time interns, Denver Rescue Mission provides optional housing, meals, transportation, tuition remuneration and a living stipend of $400/month.
