Description and Requirements

We are hiring a recent college graduate to join the Product Security Office as a Product Security Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with Lenovo's response to product security vulnerabilities, including technical analysis, driving remediation by product teams, and publishing security advisories to communicate mitigation instructions to customers. Other responsibilities may include researching emerging product security law & regulation and supporting code signing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on investigation to confirm reported security issues
  • Support PSIRT security advisory publication and internal PCSD advisory communication
  • Providing ongoing training and support of development teams in vulnerability response
  • Research emerging product security law & regulation
  • Support Lenovo code signing processes

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Information Security, or related field
  • Bring a passion to learn and stay on top of cyber security threats and trends
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • General understanding of application, network, and system security
  • Basic ability to read and understand C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or other types of development languages
  • Ability to work onsite at our Morrisville, NC location 2-3 days/week
