F220219 – Lecturer - Pharmacology and Toxicology

Position Summary:
The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at University at Buffalo invites candidates to apply for the position of Lecturer (12 months/year) with a start date in Spring or Fall of 2023. We are particularly interested in candidates who can operate effectively in a team environment and in a diverse community of students and faculty.
We are seeking an outstanding teacher to foster the educational mission of the Department. The hired individual will be expected to teach on the following topics:
• Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms of drug action
• Therapeutic use of and adverse effects of drugs
• Principles of drug action in living organisms
• Pharmacokinetics
Teaching will be both at the undergraduate and professional levels in both large and small group settings and this person will need to be a leader in curriculum development and student advising.
