IT Trainer/Techncial Writer

IT Trainer/Technical Writer provide needs analysis, design and deliver training programs to end users utilizing both formal and informal delivery including by not limited to – video, phone, email, remote assistance, face-to-face.
 
Job Responsibilities:
·        Provide technical writing and video production for instructional materials provided to students, faculty, staff. Provide web content for IT Portal, IT Services website and LLCC ITS YouTube Channel.
·        Perform needs analysis for training and documentation for end users using IT and college driven technology.
·        Provide formal and informal training to end users.
·        Backup the HelpDesk and serve as tier 2 support in daily operations, as needed, due to high volume of service requests or absence.
·        Attend formal technical and non-technical training.
·        Administer ticket system queue for form replacement and creation/maintenance of Knowledge Base articles.
 
Required Qualifications:
·        Associate degree in microcomputer related field and/or commensurate experience
  • Two years of technical training and documentation experience
Physical Requirements:
·        Stand for long periods of time
·        Walk up to 1 mile

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, drug-screen, physical, and functional capacity exam. The salary range for this position is $46,966- $75,556. The person hired into this position will be placed within this range based on education, training, experience, and skills. Starting salary is likely to be between $46,966 and $68,408, with an excellent benefit package.
