Civil Engineer

The Agency of Transportation (AOT) Asset Management Bureau is seeking a Civil Engineer to support our mission of providing quality, data-driven recommendations to guide actions and investments in the highway network. 

The individual selected for this role will develop an understanding and be involved with the inspection and management of a variety of highway, bridge and related assets. This person will engage in the rollout and support of various aspects of our Asset Management Information System and will work closely with our passionate team leaders to develop information in support of project recommendations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to gain agency-wide knowledge and influence important decisions.

This is a limited service position funded through 09/30/2026 and it is anticipated that the individual selected will be available to work 40hrs per week.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural engineering, or related technical field.

OR

Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural engineering, or related technical field AND two (2) years of experience in engineering OR licensure as an Engineer Intern.

OR

College senior in the final year of a bachelor’s degree program in civil engineering, construction management, architectural engineering, or related technical field.
