Business Overview:
The candidate will join the Macro Corporate Bond Trading team. The desk is responsible for (1) algorithmically quoting and trading full breadth of US IG and HY coporate bonds, (2) quoting and trading portfolio trades consisting of a customized basket of corporate bonds, and (3) conducting ETF primary and secondary hedging activity.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Work on development of various Python based tools including (but not limited to):
  • Pricing analytics
  • Optimization tool for ETF primary activity
  • Risk tool
  • Flow/ data visualization tool
  • Assist in portfolio pricing and booking workflow
  • Assist in executing, booking and pricing ETF primary trades
  • Assist with model refinement and optimizations
  • Interacting with sales and internal clients, providing market color and helping to increase overall business throughput
  • Interacting directly with external clients, providing market color and liquidty
  • Focusing consistently on conduct to ensure market integrity and reflect positively on the bank/group
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in a relevant field (Comp. Sci, Math, Finance, etc.)
  • Coding experience (Python / Java)
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in relevant techinal field (ie Masters in Comp Sci, Math, Financial Engineering, etc)
  • Experience with Machine learning model (calibration, testing)
  • Algo market making experience
FINRA Registrations Required: SIE, 7, 63, 57
The expected starting salary range for this position in New York / in New Jersey is between $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
