Summer Intern – Safety Biomarker Discovery and Bioanalysis
Location: South San Francisco, CA
We are currently seeking a rising senior, master or PhD-level candidates working towards a degree in biology or bioinformatics for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.
Objectives/Goals:
Summer intern will be working on a project that requires use of Olink proteomic platform to support efforts in biomarker discovery.
The intern will have hands-on experience with running assays on state-of-the art equipment and learning the analysis of proteomic data. The intern will not only expedite the ongoing tasks but also take on more new Olink requests company-wide.
Primary Duties:
Molecular biology based lab work and/or omic-type data analysis
Requirements:
- Rising senior, master or PhD-level candidates working towards a degree in biology or bioinformatics.
- Previous wet lab experience and pipetting with 96-well plates, understanding of molecular biology and protein chemistry.
- Experience in data manipulation using R programming language preferred.
