Project Associate
JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), a leading public health research and consulting organization dedicated to advancing the health of individuals and communities, is seeking Project Associates to join the Health Services Division in our Bow, NH, Boston, MA, Denver, CO, or Providence, RI offices. This position is responsible for supporting our portfolio of U.S. based projects focused on topics including: healthcare transformation including behavioral health integration; strategies to advance health and racial equity including addressing social determinants of health and other barriers to healthcare access; women’s health, maternal and child health; HIV and infectious diseases; payment reform and Medicaid policy; and multisector approaches to advancing population health. Project associates will work with teams supporting our technical work in areas such providing technical assistance and training, strategic planning, research, program evaluation, and health communications among others.

About the role:
We are hiring a group of full-time Project Associates to join projects based out of our Bow, Boston, Denver, or Providence offices. This position is designed to provide a breadth of exposure to multiple areas of domestic public health for a recent graduate or early career professional looking to launch a career in public health, health policy, or a related field. For this role, we are looking for someone who embraces opportunities for growth and thrives in roles of responsibility with quick turnaround times. All staff members work across multiple projects simultaneously with a high-level of individual accountability.
Our teams are still largely conducting business in a hybrid format, however candidates hired for this position will be associated with one of the listed hiring offices. Potential assignments for this position reflect a mix of in-person and remote work, and staff may be assigned to project teams across offices. Based on the mix of project needs and candidate locations, the hiring team will have the discretion to offer remote employment. Candidates are eligible for remote work only if residing in a state where JSI currently does business by the first date of employment: AZ, CA, CO, GA, IL, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, PA, RI, VT, VA, DC, WI.
The annual salary range is $52,000 - $67,200 (depending on years of experience) plus excellent benefits including: health insurance, dental, vision, and a 401k with a company match.
