Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking Authority to Operate (ATO) documents
- Identifying, responding to, and remediating any security related IT issues
- Preparing and submitting Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents and plans for system accreditation, auditing and continuous monitoring, or system disestablishment
- Providing direction for programs and continuous monitoring to maintain the security posture of resources
- Auditing server and desktop operating systems and components
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years’ of work relevant experience and certifications
- BS degree in information assurance, MIS, business, or related field preferred or relevant years of work experience
- Expertise with the Risk Management Framework (RMF - NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong understanding of information systems security best practices and use of security tools and practices
- Strong organizational skills, quick learner, and demonstrated problem solving
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Security + CE, CISSP or DoD IAT/IAM Level II Certification
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment
- Experience with Windows servers and an Active Directory environment
- Able to apply knowledge to complex practical situations
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active U.S. Government Security Clearance
