Position: Contract Coordinator 
Office Of Health Equity 
 
Join an exciting new initiative bringing together health care providers and community organizations to build and implement programs that address the social determinants of health and address root causes of health inequity.   
 
The Office of Health Equity is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated project coordinator to monitor the Office’s community engagement efforts. The Contract Coordinator is responsible for overseeing contracts, while simultaneously fostering broad strategic partnership between vendors and community health centers, community-based organizations (CBOs), faith-based organizations (FBOs), Tribal and Indigenous Peoples Serving Organizations (TIPSOs), etc., that support the specific and varied needs of geographic communities and priority populations. The Coordinator will demonstrate a strong commitment to establishing and maintaining harmonious and supportive working relationships with community members, organizations and others through effective communication—coupled with the ability to engage, seek out and value the input of diverse stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for fiscal oversight of all identified contracts and administering the capacity building engagement. They will also coordinate with internal fiscal and grants compliance teams across the Department to ensure appropriate oversight of the contract/s, develop standards of best practices for subrecipient monitoring, and implement those practices.

Our ideal candidate is: 
  • passionate about and familiar with the social determinants of health and their measurement;  
  • has at least 4 years of experience in administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration; and  
  • a deep understanding of and ability to apply a health, racial and disability equity approach to work.
