Title: Entry Level BCBA
Reports To: Clinical Supervisor
GENERAL FUNCTIONS

In this position, the entry level BCBA will provide behavior analytic consultation as they work to refine their applied and conceptual repertoires related to the science of behavior analysis in general and Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior specifically.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision Responsibilities
  • Participate in selection and evaluations of clients for admissions to the clinic
  • Conducting initial assessments including FBAs, VB-MAPPs, EFLs, Social Skills Checklists, etc. developing assessment reports regarding assessment outcomes and developing treatment and behavior intervention plans.
  • Develop treatment and behavior intervention plans with measurable objective goals with baseline and mastery criteria for all goals
  • Update treatment and behavior intervention plans regular and ongoing basis to ensure continued client progress
  • Ensure that any and all decision to implement teaching procedures, interventions, etc. are conducted within all ethical standards
  • Determination of appropriate schedule for and implementation of direct clinical observation/supervision, treatment planning, and parent training based on insurance authorizations or client need (whichever is greater)
  • Monitoring progress and making data-based decisions in a timely manner to ensure progress or efforts to obtain progress are ongoing
  • Complete a progress report for each client every 6-8 weeks, schedule brief progress meeting with parents (e.g., 15-20 minutes) within one week of progress report completion
  • Schedule re-assessments in coordination with the BCBA-D and Officer Manager at least within 30 days reauthorization period
  • Coordinate care with other medical, behavioral, or community providers.
  • Oversee the development of Transition and Discharge Plans as appropriate
  • Ensuring that direct service providers are maintaining all materials necessary for teaching and monitoring progress
  • Maintain client records, document client progress, and ensure the confidentiality of information pertaining to each client
  • Maintain supervision notes and documentation in client files that meet the insurance provider guidelines and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records regarding BCBA, BCaBA, and RBT supervision
  • Responsible for overseeing initial and ongoing staff development and training activities and ensuring that clinic services meet established standards
  • Model effective teaching procedures for staff on a regular basis and when new programs or procedures are implemented
  • Conduct appropriate competencies on direct service providers according to the performance review guidelines, giving clear and objective feedback and planning for remediation when necessary
  • Provide direct and concise feedback to parents and staff to ensure all teaching procedures are being understood and executed properly.
  • Identify areas of concerns or questions regarding clients, staff, schedules, etc. to discuss during supervision meetings with BCBA-D
  • Schedule meetings with direct service providers as necessary to address questions, concerns, remediate areas from competencies, etc.
  • Be readily accessible to (either in person or via phone) to staff for any concerns or questions during sessions.
Other Responsibilities
  • Must complete the 8-Hour Supervision Training Required by the BACB and receive 3 CEUs per certification cycle to remain in good standing.
  • Represent yourself and the clinic in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to and maintain the integrity of the All Points Licensed Behavior Analysts' values
  • Protect and ensure the health and safety of every client
  • Adhere to approved company policies, procedures and philosophies, most critically HIPAA, FERPA, and confidentiality requirements.
SKILLS
Knowledge of the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Knowledge Skinner's Analysis of Verbal Behavior.
Successful experience as a teacher or other special education-related related position
Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills in group settings
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in written form, with staff, parents, and other professionals.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO PROVIDING SERVICE
Education and Certifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited University Required
  • Behavior Analysis Board Certification Required
  • License in Applied Behavior Analyst from the State of Massachusetts Required to being providing supervision
  • CPR/BLS Certification – preferred
  • 8-Hour BACB Supervision Training and 3 Supervision CEUs per certification cycle required to provide Supervision
Additional Training
  • All new BCBAs must complete the All Points Licensed Behavior Analysts New Hire Training Program prior to beginning to provide services
  • Must complete relevant HIPAA and OSHA training
Experience
  • Documented evidence of strong background in the application of behavioral principles with clients with autism.
  • Documentation of effective consultation skills related to the assessment, development and implementation of programs for children with autism.
  • Documentation of training or coursework on Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior
  • At least 3 years working in the field of behavior analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $52,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
