Semiconductor Specialist Intern

Position Summary:
The Semiconductor Specialist Intern will work to assist Indium Corporation’s Semiconductor Product Management Team with assessing the impact of the CHIPS Act on Indium Corporation products in the Americas region. The intern is responsible for identifying and analyzing the effect of the CHIPS Act on Indium Corporation and communicating their analysis and strategy to relevant internal stakeholders. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for engineering and business and wants to get hands-on experience working at a global organization.
 
Responsibilities:
•Identify and analyze potential emerging technologies Indium Corporation can implement in their product line.
•Develop a strong understanding of product attributes by shadowing and testing SiPaste and SAAM flux products.
•Identify and quantify areas of opportunity, potential improvements, and commercial benefits of increased volumes semiconductor products.
•Develop and communicate product strategy with stakeholders.
Requirements:
•All interns must be active college students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in courses for the Fall semester of 2023.
•Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, or other related field.
•Experience with operations management and/or statistical analysis preferred.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Microsoft Office Experience required.
•Keen observation skills with excellent attention to detail.

Monday-Friday/8:00am-5:00pm/New Hartford, NY
