Mission Delivery (Volunteer Program) Intern – Spring 2023 

 

Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island has an opening for a volunteer intern to support the volunteer program. The intern will be an effective communicator, detail oriented, creative, and collaborative. Tasks may include data entry and research projects related to the recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers; creating volunteer training and appreciation collateral; preparing volunteer welcome packets. Position reports to the Director of the Volunteer Program. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible with the right candidate who possesses the required skills below. The position is 16 hours/week and working one day/week in our Boston office is required. 

 

Required Skills: 

Strong oral communication skills to effectively communicate with all personality types  

Thorough follow-up skills, detail-oriented and reliable 

Ability to collaborate including taking direction and receiving feedback 

Microsoft Office/Outlook required
