Mental Health Clinical Supervisor

The Role:
Family Centers is seeking a licensed full-time mental health professional for the Mental Health Counseling Program in our Outpatient Behavioral Health Department. Our counseling and mental health services help individuals, groups, couples and families resolve a wide range of personal and relationship issues. All services are facilitated by trained mental health professionals and provided in our licensed and accredited centers located in Greenwich, Stamford, and Darien.
The appropriate candidate will provide clinical supervision to mental health clinicians in the program and will also provide individual, couple, family, and group treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and families.  Since the start of the pandemic, this role day-to-day is currently being conducted remotely on a virtual Telehealth platform. Please note that this will not be remote long term and future plans include returning to an in-person office setting once it’s appropriate to do so in the best interest of clients and staff and per guidance from state and federal guidelines. In addition, it is important to be able to work some evening hours in order to better meet the needs of our community. Mental Health Clinicians and Supervisors currently have the option of working remotely with the exception of School Based Health Centers.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree and licensed in social work, professional counseling or marriage and family therapy.
  • Experience working with a wide range of populations
  • A willingness to work some evening hours
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic health records and virtual platform.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Preferred: Bi-lingual Spanish
