Director of Recruitment for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Programs

JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of OT & PT Student Recruitment is responsible for marketing and recruitment for the OT and PT programs, aiming to grow the qualified applicant pool and working to increase Touro’s brand recognition within potential applicant pools. They will also establish and manage cooperative and articulation agreements for OT and PT. The programs are located at our Long Island Campus in Islip, New York and at our New York City campus in Times Square in Manhattan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop and execute a schedule of recruitment events both virtual and in-person
  • Create and manage strong social media campaign
  • Identify and participate in external recruitment events, such as pre-health fairs, health fairs, career fairs, graduate school fairs
  • Develop and execute additional recruitment strategies and articulation agreements
  • Create and manage database of prospective applicants
  • Generate data and reports related to recruitment, retention, and enrollment
  • Manage the CRM system and utilize its features to keep potential applicants engaged
  • Collaborate with the Office of Admissions to improve enrollment demographic, diversity retention rates, and grow qualified applicant pool
  • Collaborate with marketing personnel in the development of marketing plans to enhance diverse recruitment strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Experience
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred in marketing or related field
  • 3 years related experience in marketing and sales, preferably within higher education
  • Experience in marketing and recruitment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete detailed work under deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills including but not limited to:
  • Demonstrated proficiency using integrated software systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience with a CRM platform
  • Exposure to a common application system (CAS) is preferred

Travel
  • Frequent travel to other campuses and the community (Primarily Long Island and New York/New Jersey metropolitan area)
  • Attend recruitment events including some evenings and weekends

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 5 pounds

Salary Range
  • $64,000-$80,000
