Work Shift:
Day (United States of America) Seeking motivated candidate for cardiovascular image analysis and contribution to research projects including leading research project(s). Preference for individual with a background in biomedical engineering, engineering, computer or data science, and/or prior experience in medical image analysis (Master’s degree in one of these areas favorable but not required). Must have outstanding academic record, problem solving and organizational skills, and work well both independently and in a team with others. Proficiency in computer programming languages including Matlab, Python, Image J preferred, prior experience with statistical languages also helpful.

Job Summary: Under supervision of the principal investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments using molecular, cell biology and/or biochemistry techniques. Records test results, calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data using basic statistics.

Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately and efficiently enters all required data from paper case report forms into the respective databases. Understands the data entry process (i.e. missing values, not applicable values, entering values from unknown dates, etc.).
  2. Enters and documents changes in the database via computer entry screens as well as written documentation of changes made to the paper case report forms as a result of a query or an unsolicited correction. Actively participate in wikidoc material creation and editing.
  3. Prepares, sends and resolves data queries for the clinical sites, records receipt and return of all queries from each clinical site.
  4. Actively participate in all educational projects within the team.
  5. Assist Director with complex scheduling requests and requirements. Assist with travel logistics/requirements for Director and related team members. Any other duties as assigned by Director.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree required in Degree in science-related discipline preferred.
  2. 1-3 years related work experience required.
  3. Careful attention to detail.
  4. Ability to problem solve.
  5. Ability to demonstrate professionalism.
  6. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

  2. Oral Communications: Ability to comprehend and communicate complex verbal information in English to medical center staff, patients, families and external customers.

  5. Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service and staff training to meet customer service standards and expectations for the assigned unit(s). Resolves service issues in the assigned unit(s) in a timely and respectful manner.


Physical Nature of the Job:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus
