Finance Analyst

Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for tracking the company's financial performance against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports. The analyst must have expertise in evaluating financial and investment information, lender / investor management and reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Perform budgeting, financial forecasting, reporting, MIS and operational metrics tracking

· Responsible for building financial models, making deal memos, revising underwriting values

· Coordinate the preparation of the Corporation's financial statements (P&L, Actuals, Projected, Key KPI), earnings and management discussion and analysis (annual and interim)

· Work on Mergers & Acquisitions and financing transactions

· Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, comparative analyses and make recommendations for optimization

· Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

· Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, automated tools, and online dashboards

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Proven experience of 2-4 years as financial analyst in investment banking, PE or VC environment

· Bachelor's degree with focus in Finance, Business, Economics; CPA or MBA preferred

· Strong financial modeling experience

· Experienced in investor reporting and management

· Strong quantitative and analytical competency

· Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

· Knowledge of Corporate Financial systems including SAP, Forecasting tools, Tableau, Pitch-pro, MS Office presentation tools
