Systems Validation Intern (42024BR)
As an intern at Synopsys, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You will develop and refine skills relevant to your major and future career by contributing to high-impact business projects. The Synopsys intern program integrates our interns into the culture with career opportunities upon graduation. This summer internship is full-time (40 hours/week) beginning May/June 2023 and will last three months. We're looking for someone to work from HQ, in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
System validation or software development teams in industry want to complete their development and validation tasks as quickly as possible. Industry-leading HAPS Prototyping software helps designers to build the fastest prototype of their design on HAPS Prototyping Hardware. The intern will develop software to do structured dump of key data and metrics from stages of Protocompiler Flow. For this the intern will develop and implement schemas. In addition, based on guidance of mentor the intern will infer cause-effect chains relating data dumped from various stages. This will pave the way to a root-cause analysis solution to rapidly debug hard issues like failure in System Route.
Requirements:
- Must be inquisitive
- Ability to bring novel solutions to hard problems
- Skilled in C++, scripting in TCL/Python
- Ability to navigate and code in complex and large SW
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS/MS degree in related field
