Associate – Americas Practice

Associate – Americas

The Associate is an entry-level position supporting the Americas practice. Associates support practice leads and other senior staff with scheduling, team operations, drafting and editing client deliverables, and other duties critical to client service and the team’s internal functioning. Associates also learn the details of ASG business and client work, allowing them to begin to develop geopolitical, regional, and sectoral/industry expertise.

We expect associates, as they become adept at supporting the smooth operations of the practice, to grow in the role and collaborate with other firm staff to develop and/or edit written products and other client deliverables (e.g., country reports, stakeholder maps, market analyses). Associates also gain experience representing ASG alongside more senior colleagues in meetings with outside executives and government officials.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, a skilled writer, and eager to develop expertise at the intersection of public policy, business, and diplomacy. Professional proficiency in Spanish is required; Portuguese ability is a plus, given our work across the Americas. Experience in Latin America and a solid understanding of basic macroeconomics are preferred.
