Building Based Substitute Teacher
Position: Building-Based Substitute Teacher
Location: Cunniff Elementary School
Job Type: Part Time, 3 days/week, 8am-2:30pm
Pay: $125/day
SUMMARY:
The substitute will perform the in-person instructional practices outlined by the teacher who is absent. The candidate should have a strength in managing and leading classroom schedules and activities that define the school day.
- Guaranteed 3 days/week
- Become part of the school community
- Take attendance and create a positive study environment for students
- Supervise students
- Position cannont be combined with any other positions in the City or the School Department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge in utilizing technological tools such as iPads, Chromebooks as well as the Google Classroom platform is preferred
- Enjoy working with K-5 elementary school children
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education is preferred
