2023 Intern - Finance Data Engineer (MBA or Master's)
The Challenge
In Adobe finance, we seek automation as a means of improving efficiency and work quality. This role will work on building and improving the data systems in finance that create, deliver, visualize, and predict information. The Finance Systems team is responsible for building the automation and platforms that drive Adobe’s forecasts, financial insights, and business intelligence. This role will work within finance to create and implement cutting-edge systems.
What You'll Do
Our 2023 intern will work on cutting edge technology related to interpreting documents using AI. They will have the opportunity to showcase their main internship project to their fellow cohort and senior leaders. In addition they’ll gain experience in the following:
- Using machine learning to interpret contracts and automate workflow decisions
- Build data automations and visualizations
- Automate, enhance, and maintain analytic applications and data structures used for modeling and forecasting
- Partner with finance, accounting, BU partners, and leadership to develop and enhance existing process
- Demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity towards enhancing current methodologies and processes
What You Need to Succeed
- Pursuing a master’s degree Computers Science, Information Systems, or a similar field with a 2024 expected graduation or pursuing an MBA with heavy emphasis in information systems
- Major in information systems, computer science, data science, or finance/business degree with minor in information systems.
- Ability to pull and process data in SQL is beneficial
- Data visualization experience (Tableau or Power BI preferred)
- Successful candidate will be assertive, motivated; strong problem solving and analytical / critical thinking skills
