Associate Director, Senior Vice President for Advancement Office

Are you a talented high performer seeking a new challenge? Do you thrive in complex and fast-paced work environments? If so, we are looking for you! As our Associate Director in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Advancement, you will be a key partner in managing divisional priorities that involve the President of the College, Provost, and Board of Trustees by managing requests of time, nomination processes, and meeting content and preparation. You will plan and oversee logistics for President’s Leadership Council (PLC) meetings that are held several times a year, both on and off campus. In this role you will also drive several timelines and accountabilities to ensure institutional leadership receives timely briefings and supporting materials that meet the highest standards of quality. As a member of our team, you will serve as a mentor to others in best practices, and drive improvement of our team systems and procedures. Our work is fast paced and supports institutional priorities – your work will make a difference here.

This is a dynamic, high-stakes role within one of the top internal management teams at the College.  As our new team member, you will hold a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of progressively responsible experience in a complex organization. You take pride in your high level of diplomacy, accuracy, flexibility, and problem-solving.  In your new role, your ability to manage a significant amount of liaison work involved with institutional leadership, to think strategically, manage a myriad of complex details and timelines with aplomb, and forge productive working relationships will be critical for our success.  Your track record of successful project management is driven by your ability to set priorities, solid analytical and technical skills, and your sense of curiosity. Your professionalism and your care with sensitive information will be relied upon in our everyday work. Our technology suite currently includes Microsoft Office, Advance, and Slack. If you bring us solid skills in the Microsoft Office suite that are part of our everyday work (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), we’ll teach you the rest of our software programs through an onboarding plan that is tailored for you in your new role. Working in fundraising is fun and rewarding, and your desire to learn more about this impactful work is welcome.
