Backend Developer

Backend Developer

solutions and green jobs across the Commonwealth. Our mission is to accelerate an inclusive
clean energy economy. We work hand-in-hand with cities and local community organizations to
connect communities of color, non-English speakers, and renters/landlords to energy-saving
programs and affordable renewable energy. These programs help families save money, make
their homes become healthier, and combat climate change. We are also increasing green career
opportunities for people of color, multilingual individuals, and women.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated backend developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the codebase that relates to our database and Salesforce system. This includes documenting the current infrastructure and implementing new scripts for upcoming vendors. You will also be responsible for building a script to process data from different databases and automating our development environment through the use of CI/CD. Additionally, you will be working with vendors to process incoming data.

To be successful in this role, you should have a moderate understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, and/or Javascript. Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets is also preferred, as is experienced with CI/CD and/or Dev Ops. Hours and Compensation:
  • $18/hour
  • Part-time (up to 20 hours per week)
  • Flexible schedule
