Investment Analyst

The Dermot Company, a New York City based real estate developer and operator, is seeking an Investment Analyst to perform acquisition and asset management work. This is an entry level position within our investment team with the latest start time of March 2023.

The position will offer full exposure to the real estate investment life cycle, including capital raising, property acquisitions, financings, asset management, and dispositions.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or obtain one prior to March 2023.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Some of the things you’ll be working on include:

  • Financial analysis and due diligence
  • Project administration
  • Preparing key data for investor reporting

ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU OFFER
  • BA completion by March 2023 in business, economics or related fields
  • Knowledge of the Florida market is a huge plus!
  • Internship experience demonstrating a successful track record of project management and ownership 
  • Keen interest in operations of multi-family real estate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed
  • Highly driven, organized and detail oriented with an ability to navigate strategically
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and commitment to meet deadlines

Our compensation and benefits package include a competitive salary, commensurate with experience with bonus potential, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid time off and retirement with match when eligible and a flexible, hybrid work environment. The gross annualized base range for this position is 75,000-90,000. The actual compensation within the range will be based on factors unique to each candidate including years and depth of experience.
