The Research Coordinator will work with a research team on several grant-funded studies designed to evaluate neurobehavioral characteristics of criminal offenders with antisocial traits as well as long-term outcomes (e.g., after release from incarceration) using established psychological, socio-behavioral, and/or neurobiological research procedures. Will be responsible for: 1) Recruiting and scheduling participants, 2) Collecting MRI scans, 3) Analyzing data to assure data integrity, quality control and protocol compliance, 4) Training staff and volunteers, 5) Conducting clinical assessments, 6) Using statistical software to analyze data quantitatively and qualitatively, and assist in the preparation of conference presentations, manuscripts, and grant proposals. The RC will receive training in brain imaging (magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)) data collection and analyses, and conducting clinical and neuropsychological assessments. 
The majority of time will be spent collecting data in corrections facilities, including periodic travel to corrections facilities in other states.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been attained.  Candidates with a M.A are also encouraged to apply.  
Must have demonstrated knowledge of psychological, socio-behavioral and/or neurobehavioral research principles, practices and protocols as well as knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures of basic medical and/or clinical research. Must have the ability to understand and follow basic scientific research protocols and procedures.
Requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality as well as the ability to learn department-specific computer systems as needed. Must have a high degree of professionalism, strong organizational and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability in managing a wide variety of tasks simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.
Experience with clinical assessments and statistical methods/software is preferred.  


Salary is commensurate with experience.
