Special Education Teacher - TOH or TOSD and Dual Certified in Science
Burlington Township is seeking an exhilarating individual who is seeking employment in a student centered learning environment. The successful candidate must be able to maintain and foster a positive learning environment, have a strong and comprehensive knowledge of the content area, and demonstrate strong communication skills. The candidate must hold a Teacher of the Handicapped or TOSD with a certification/specialization in Science. Exhibiting a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community is also required.

- Must meet New Jersey residency requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and motivated. Self-starter. Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and demonstrate flexibility.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree.
- Valid New Jersey TOH or TOSD Certification and additional subject certification/specialization in Science preferred.
- Must meet New Jersey residency requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and motivated. Self-starter. Ability to work independently.
- Required criminal history background check, proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
