We are currently seeking rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors working towards a degree in microbiology, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering or related field for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.
Objectives/Goals of the Position:
Evaluation of downstream chromatography process capability for ß-glucan removal.
ß-glucan can be introduced at any time through raw materials and handling of process materials to the upstream process. The study is designed to demonstrate the clearance of ß-glucan from monoclonal antibody products through downstream chromatography purification processes.
Primary Duties:
Assist in the completion of the above-mentioned studies including but not limited to: buffer preparation, operating AKTA Avants to run the chromatography process, execution of the study protocol and data analysis
Position Requirements:
- Rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors working towards a degree in microbiology, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering or related field
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0
