Quoting & Analytics Intern
Summary:
The Quoting & Analytics intern will work on special projects related to the competitive analysis of employee benefit options. Will also work on deliverables such as financial reports, benchmarking reports, demographics analyses, contribution modeling, etc. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone looking to explore a career in insurance, consulting, and/or healthcare.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Gathers documents for the renewal process and verifies all information (rates, benefit items, premium, commission, contributions, waiting period, and any additional information that is needed by other departments)
- Assembles proposal components into benefits analysis spreadsheet for client presentations
- Updates and attaches documents to appropriate client file in Microsoft CRM
- Updates and maintains data points in Microsoft CRM used by other client service team members
- Provides employee contribution modeling, benchmarking, and other analyses in support of client strategy
- Provides basic financial reporting and renewal projections

Education, Training and Experience:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
