Lead Financial Operations, Quality and Process Improvement Analyst

Come join this exciting new team in the Financial Operations area of BCH. As part of the Quality and Process Improvement team, you will be an integral team member partnering with department leaders in the development of project related deliverables and serving as a change agent for key strategic initiatives. The team assists the Finance area with small and large, cross functional projects of varying priority and complexity.

This Lead Financial Operations, Quality and Process Improvement Analyst will be responsible to:
  • Collaborate with functional team members to develop, design and execute a reporting and analytics strategy for finance functional areas that delivers positive enterprise outcomes.
  • Define a standardized set of metrics and reporting (e.g., dashboards) that provides consistent, accurate and timely data and improves decision-making capabilities.
  • Analyze metrics and performance indicators to identify potential improvements in finance functional areas.
  • Work independently and closely with staff to identify opportunities, develop business and financial plans for priority initiatives, and present recommendations to leadership. Contributes to the conceptualization and implementation of innovative solutions aimed at delivering sustainable operational improvements.
To qualify, you must have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is required. Knowledge of Information Technology and/or Data Analytics preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or other analytic based function is required.
  • Experience with working within an enterprise-wide system, such as PeopleSoft, SAP, or Oracle, with PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of core metrics and performance indicators for back office finance function (general accounting and reporting, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting, taxes, research finance, decision support, etc.) operations as it relates to healthcare.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands and projects simultaneously, and lead process improvement activities.
  • Working knowledge of visualization tools (e.g. Microstrategy, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, etc.) and techniques for insightful display of data.
  • The analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional methodologies and principles in performing various analyses, and the ability to summarize information and data to identify and resolve problems
  • Remote position if you live in MA, RI, NH, ME or CT
