Data Analyst Internship (2023)

Information Security is a strategic imperative for LYVE Cloud to ensure the security, privacy, availability, integrity, and confidentiality of customer, business partner, employee, and business information.

About the role - you will:

•   Report to the Director of Risk and Compliance as a key member of our Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance team. This global role will support the planning and execution of ISO 27001 certification, SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, and SS 584 certification audits in conjunction with applicable laws, and regulations. This includes supporting the management of business unit policies, procedures and controls, control testing, and targeted audits. The certification and attestation portfolio will evolve in line with business and market needs.
•   Support the continuous improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework and processes to improve business unit efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in overall planning, scoping, risk assessment, successful execution, accurate documentation, and conclusions for data security certification programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and SS584)
  • Assist in managing audit requests from internal and external audit, and security teams
  • Manage asset inventory and 3rd party vendor assessments
  • Employ program management best practices and manage multiple special projects in parallel. Drive, track and report projects’ progress, challenges, and opportunities.

About you:

•   Strong interest in Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance
•   Knowledge of Cloud Service Provider systems infrastructure
•   Strong project management skills to manage projects in a matrix team environment
•   Ability to quickly learn and apply your learning to improve our audit preparations

Your experience includes:

•   Currently in school to obtain a college business, legal or technical degree
•   Demonstrated flexibility to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects
•   Demonstrated combination of leadership and strong teamwork skills applied to initiate, execute, and collaborate on significant projects
