Foreign Policy for America Summer 2023 Fellowship

Foreign Policy for America’s fellowship program offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of American foreign policy. Fellows will gain hands on experience with foreign policy issues and advocacy, the politics of foreign policy, as well as non-profit management and administration. We are a tight knit, collaborative organization, and fellows should expect to work on substantial projects that contribute to achieving our mission. Fellows will support the following areas of our work: Advocacy, Political, and Outreach, with one of these areas as their primary focus. 
 
Description: Foreign Policy for America (FP4A) is a national organization advocating for principled American engagement in the world. Together with our members and partners, we promote sound policies, hold elected officials accountable for their votes and actions, and help elect champions for our values. The Foreign Policy for America family of organizations includes FP Action Network, our federal political action committee, and Foreign Policy for America Foundation, our 501(c)(3) educational arm.

Responsibilities: Fellows play a central role in supporting FP4A’s mission and will support staff in following areas of our work: Advocacy, Political, and Outreach. Descriptions of each area, and associated responsibilities can be found on the application form.  
 
Requirements:
· Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with strong academic backgrounds and interest in U.S. foreign policy and related politics 
· Strong writing skills are a must 
· Previous campaign or Capitol Hill experience is a plus 
· Full-time availability is required. Exceptional candidates that can work full time or close to full time will be considered 

Compensation: Fellows will receive a stipend of $6,000 for the semester.
