You will also focus on studying viral kinetics and host-pathogen interactions in a highly translatable model for human health.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Establishment and optimization of human respiratory tract progenitor cells in 2D organoid model systems
  • Development and optimization of mid- and high-throughput screening assays with small and large molecules
  • Characterization of viral kinetics and host-pathogen interactions with human organoid systems
  • Data interpretation, manuscript and patent preparation, publication and presentation
Education Minimum Requirement:
  • Ph.D. or will you have completed your PhD within the next year, in Virology, Immunology, Infectious Disease, Microbiology or related field with 3 years or less of postdoctoral experience or have met all the requirements.
