The Security Products & Technology team is seeking a motivated, experienced Embedded SW engineer to provide support to our Security Products & Technology group located at ADI’s Wilmington, MA or Tampa, FL location. As ADI continues to grow its capability in embedded security technology, we have the need for an Embedded SW Engineering Intern that will work with a multi-functional engineering team to develop software that support a range of block, subsystem, and system solutions for embedded security solutions. You will have hands on all facets of software development of subsystems that will ensure we can keep all of ours and our customers products secure.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Contribute to the development of technical requirements and interface design documents.
  • Design and develop real-time embedded software and embedded Linux software that implements security requirements.
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies such as backlog grooming, story point estimation, daily standups and sprint retrospectives.
  • Support our quality goals by ensuring maximum test coverage for your software and participating in requirements and code reviews.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate progress to team and management
Minimum qualifications

  • Working on Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Experience in embedded development of real-time controls, or system software
  • Proficient in various programming languages for embedded software development
  • Self-motivated and team orientated
  • Persuasive communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications

  • Conceptual understanding of security methodologies and challenges
