Position Overview: 
We are seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral scientist with expertise in immunology and computational biology. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Host Pathogen group at Discovery Immunology- Research Division Cambridge, you will work in a close collaboration with Immunologists, Vaccinologists, Computational Scientists and Quantitative Bioscience to understand immune, transcriptomic and epigenetic signatures of durable immune response elicited by different vaccination strategies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Establishment and utilization of murine in vivo immunogenicity models, ex-vivo assays, multi-parametric flow cytometry, system biology tools to document vaccine-induced immunity.
  • Development of a comprehensive adaptive immune cell landscape to the select vaccination strategies.
  • Characterization of the transcriptomic and epigenomic signatures of key adaptive populations after vaccination.
  • Data interpretation, manuscript preparation, publication and presentation
  • Active participation in meetings/seminars both at our company and externally

Education Minimum Requirement:
  • Ph.D. or will you have completed your PhD within the next year, in Biological Sciences/Immunology/Virology or related life sciences

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with in vivo murine infection models and immunological assays (ELISA, flow cytometry, ICS, sorting).
  • Solid knowledge in molecular biology tools, in vitro assay development and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in acquisition and analysis of NGS datasets (scRNA-seq/or Chip-seq and related technologies).
  • Strong publication record and ability to design and execute experiments and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred experience:
  • Strong knowledge and experience with bioinformatics/computational biology
