The position will ensure compliance of those functions with federal, state, county, and local policies, procedures, and general accounting methods; to maintain county financial records. The position supports the Department Administrator/Director with providing fiscal information necessary for overall functions and operations of the department. Requirements
One year as a County Fiscal Operations Officer 1; OR two years of professional accounting experience and graduation from a four-year college or university that included 6 college credits in accounting; OR four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and an associate degree in accounting or business administration, including or supplemented by 6 college credits in accounting; OR equivalent combinations of experience and training which include 6 college credits in accounting are acceptable.
