The Manager II (General) of Extended Learning is accountable for improving student achievement for all students with special attention on improving student achievement of English Learners, Special Education students, foster and homeless youth; develop and lead a service-oriented department to support schools, school site leaders, and instructional staff; collaborate with district leaders to develop and integrate comprehensive and effective educational programs and services to provide students access to high quality learning options to stay in school on target to graduate; work collaboratively with departments with District Goals in support of student achievement.
 
This position will include, but not limited to, the oversight, planning and implementation of after school programs, summer school, winter intersession, and Saturday Academy.
 
Requirements:
  • Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and five years increasingly responsible supervisory and/or management or related experience in area of specialty.
  • Valid California driver's license.

*** Eight years of management level experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Applicant(s) must also have the additional years of experience required. ***
