Performance Standards Coordinator

Position: Performance Standards Coordinator 
Office of Local and Regional Health 
 
The Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH) is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Program Coordinator to support the implementation of the goals and objectives outlined in the Blueprint for Public Health Excellence by the Special Commission on Local and Regional Health. This position will focus on advancing the local and regional health performance standards through various phases, based on the results of capacity assessments. The Performance Standards Coordinator will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and implementing future phases of the standards, while also leading the development of cost analysis and ensuring compliance. This role will work closely with the Performance and Quality Improvement Specialist and the Assistant Director of Performance Standards to ensure the success of the program.

Our ideal candidate has: 
  • a passion for and is familiar with the social determinants of health and their measurement;  
  • at least 3 years of experience in professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration;  
  • knowledge of the local and regional public health system, including the Municipal Boards of Health and  
  • a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology, black belt certification preferred.
