Accounting Summer Analyst
As an Accounting Summer Analyst, you will spend 10 weeks working with the Stamford-based team to assist with various Finance and Accounting duties associated with General Atlantic’s Limited Partner entities used to make portfolio investments.
In this role, you will:
· Work alongside GA Finance and Accounting team members during quarterly close process
· Assist with team with data reconciliations
· Prepare and collate documents for external auditors
· Perform accounting research
· Help research and answer investor questions
· Assist with internal and external reporting to various stakeholders
· Run qualitative checks on investor statements and communicate issues to team
· Assist with various ad hoc projects

Qualifications
· Are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution in the US
· Major in Accounting
· Strong Excel skills required (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proven record of achievement in academic and other settings
· Shows intellectual curiosity and is always striving to learn
· Proactive and positive work attitude; willing to go the extra mile
· Creative and able to solve problems
