Hours: 25 hours/week, flexible schedule

As a part-time Accounting Assistant with Deland, Gibson, you will compile and review financial information and accurately maintain records. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, reconcile and track expense reports through the internal system
- Bank reconciliations
- Voucher tracking
- Bank deposits
- Pull commission statements from carrier websites
- Paying carriers
- Processing miscellaneous agreements, checks, deposits, journal entries
- Data entry and scanning documents
- Clerical and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years accounting experience required
- Exceptional organizational skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a team player and be able to work with all levels of the organization effectively and efficiently
- Strong sense of urgency combined with close attention to detail
- Ability to maintain and handle confidential materials on a routine basis
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines while multitasking
- Self-starter with a high level of detail orientation, capable of working independently
