Intern, Industrials Associate

A Fundamental L/S Equity Team who specializes in the Industrials, Materials and Semiconductor industries is looking for an Associate Intern to work on projects related to research, company due diligence and data-driven idea generation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge research at a leading hedge fund, offering hands-on experience in the equity public markets. 

This role will report to a Fundamental L/S Equity Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst. The intern will primarily be focused on the semiconductor industry, helping to:

·        Conduct deep fundamental research, primary research, and engage in other data collection efforts

·        Build and maintain detailed company financial models

·        Create valuation analyses and write company and industry reports

·        Take on ad-hoc industry related projects

·        Location: NY

·        Ability to communicate effectively; excellent reading comprehension and writing skills
