Product Issue Resolution Intern 1136110
The Engineering Resolution (Intern) engineer will work with engineers and mentors in the Product Issue Resolution team on special projects. This Intern will take on one or more of the following projects as well as other projects as needed.
- Design, architecture, and development of a custom SharePoint application.
- Inventory and re-development of the CFI Reporting Database Report Server.
- Development of a new Professions Database and Tool
Overview of Role:
As an Intern, the engineer will be expected to take direction from PIR managers and project managers on tasks and assignments and work independently or as part of a team.
- Apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve the project problem description.
- Track progress on the project to the project plan
- Effectively communicate to the members of the team and project leader.
- Be a team player and participate in the analysis, design, and development of the new application.
- Collaborate with the ER Product Issue Resolution members on the project assigned.
Competencies
- Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Possess good technical troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Use excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English & strong time management skills
- Have the ability to effectively interact and interface with HPE mentors, and managers.
- Ability to communicate project issues and recommend resolutions.
- Ability to be proactive, productive, and a flexible team member who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with project leaders via phone, e-mail, and face-to-face in an efficient, articulate and professional manner
