Community Based Instructor 2 - Washoe County Extension 4-H Afterschool Team
The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is recruiting for two (2) part-time (80% FTE) Community Based Instructor 2s for the Washoe County office. The Community Based Instructor 2 will assist with planning, implementing and evaluating a STEM-based, non-formal educational program for school age youth in the 4-H Afterschool Program. This will include teaching, which follows a specified curriculum for enrichment programs, helping to resolve conflicts that may arise between youth in the program, coaching youth in decision making, and encouraging them to participate in community service learning projects. The Community Based Instructor 2 is also responsible for maintaining records, documenting attendance, participating in regular staff meetings, and performing other duties as assigned.
