Talent Acquisition Internship - National Environmental & Public Health Nonprofit

Apply if you love helping people find their calling. Join our talent acquisition / HR recruitment team doing outreach, marketing, and administration. Our national network of nonprofits is hiring on campaigns to save the bees, stop plastic pollution, advocate for 100% clean energy, and protect Pacific sea otters. 


Get hands-on experience using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed and Quickbase.

  • Maintain and improve our recruitment systems - Identify areas to improve the efficiency of recruitment systems.
  • Manage department operations to keep things running smoothly - build reports on key departmental metrics.
  • Help people find their calling - Whether it’s working to save the bees, or for 100% renewable energy, you’ll identify and recruit people to find their calling making a difference.

Interns will be supervised and receive feedback from a nonprofit recruitment expert to develop their skills. The program includes weekly meetings and co-working Zoom blocks, and two evaluations.

Qualifications

Graduated or enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate's degree program in communications, psychology, journalism, political science, public relations or a related field preferred, but not required. No experience or specific qualifications required.

This internship is unpaid, but course-credit may be eligible through your school.
For semester schools the internship will last until May 17. For Quarter schools the term is from March 3 until June 9.
Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.
