Job Description:

The writing program at Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, invites applications for an Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2023. We seek candidates with strong teaching experience to help us build a writing program focused on student success and student empowerment. The teaching load is 4/3 with a teaching assignment that consists of courses that fulfill the first-year writing requirements of Curry College's general education program, as well as other courses in the writing program, as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with specialization or teaching experience in the following areas: cultural rhetorics, assessment, and WAC/WID work. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have some previous writing program administration experience, specifically in faculty development. 

Requirements:

A Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing Studies or a related field.
