Senior Financial Analyst

Title: Senior Financial Analyst 

Reporting to: Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration 

Job Summary: The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for preparing and analyzing the monthly tour margins and other ad hoc analyses. This position will also manage various balance sheet accounts, including preparing and processing journal entries and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity and desire to problem solve, taking professional pride and pleasure in efficiently processing large volumes of disparate data to deliver consistent results. Must be a team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for accuracy and integrity. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly tour margin reports
  • Active role in the monthly and annual planning and forecasting process, including evaluating variances
  • Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to maintain and build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements.
  • Proactively learn and adopt new tools to improve analytics capability and accuracy
  • Performing research and analysis as required
  • Prepare Monthly foreign currency reporting
  • Prepare recurring, ad hoc reports, and management reporting
  • Responsible for supporting the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Maintain accounting systems and financial controls, ensuring the integrity and documentation of all processes and data
  • Contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track and capture data
  • Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 3 – 5 years experience in FP&A
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Ability to digest large quantities of data into meaningful results
  • Aptitude for problem-solving
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capacity to handle change and be effective in a fast-past environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Dynamics GP or similar accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 3 – 5 years experience in FP&A
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
