Supply Chain Senior Analyst
Everything in Dell Technologies is ground-breaking, from the designers of our products to the developers of our supply systems. Our Supply Chain team within Materials and Purchasing drives the development, implementation and management of supply chain operations and suppliers in the delivery of strategic programs. It’s all about managing supplier relationships and ensuring the availability of parts and services in the supply chain, while maintaining inventory at acceptable levels. We focus our resources on the continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.

What you’ll achieve

As a Supply Chain Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for leading multiple programs, to coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information across suppliers, operations/manufacturing, distributors, and customers. You will carry out strategic supply chain analysis to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain.
You will: 

  • Manage and coordinate supply chain activities across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Perform as the Program Manager for all planning & procurement functions necessary to set-up, forecast, procure and deliver materials for factories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional development and sustaining teams. Creates and manages integrated supply chain processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics as well as outside suppliers.
  • Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
  • Perform as the Program Manager for all procurement functions necessary to set-up, forecast, procure and deliver materials for Dell or ODM factories.
  • Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities within the supply chain to improve processes and quality and reduce cycle time and cost. The candidate should be comfortable managing large amounts of data to drive insights into the business.

Essential Requirements  

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business management, or operations
  • Excellent understanding of global supply chain, manufacturing footprint and logistics capabilities
  • Strong program and project management skills
  • Supply chain management expertise, negotiation, and supplier evaluation skills
  • Ability to evaluate data and analytics to provide business insights
Desirable Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Market research knowledge, as well as a sound understanding of business goals and current industry trends
