Job Overview: 
Spirent SecurityLabs is a dedicated team of experienced security professionals providing comprehensive scanning, penetration testing, and monitoring services for networks, wireless, websites, mobile applications, and embedded devices, as well as source code analysis for our clients. 
  
The Spirent SecurityLabs team is looking for Intern with great energy and passion for Information Security. The intern will get broad exposure to critical aspects of the day-to-day operations of an information security service team. The intern will have an opportunity to work in the Vulnerability Management, Risk, and Compliance areas.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Performing vulnerability scanning. 
  • Solving Security problems. 
  • Creates internal knowledge about key technologies, tools, and methodologies.  
  • Helps with Vulnerability management projects. 
 
Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree candidate, from an accredited university, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field. 
  • Enjoys solving technical problems and helping others. 
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of application protocols (HTML, HTTP), Network Protocols. 
  • Understanding of SQL and multiple database platforms. 
  • Familiar with Windows & Linux environments. 
  • Familiar with Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and/or Kali Linux suite. 
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. 
  • Desire to learn and grow skills.
