Principal UX Designer
Position: Principal UX Designer

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related Graphic Design, Media Design, or Visual Design field;
- 5 years of experience with building consumer-facing web applications in an in-house environment;
- 5 years of Design System experience;
- 5 years of proven successful experience creating customer experiences with agile software development teams;
- 5 years of experience and strong track record of data-driven decision-making;
- 5 years of experience with high-volume, transactional environments with operational complexity such as e-commerce, financial services, or software-as-a-service;
- 5 years of experience in user experience, visual, and interaction design; and
- 5 years of experience with each of the following: Advanced Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, Sketch & InVision experience, CSS, HTML.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Define, craft, and evolve designs within visual systems and/or standards;
- Take conceptual ideas, explore, and iterate, and narrow to optimal solutions while maintaining momentum;
- Be an evangelist for designing with a systematic approach, educating fellow designers and engineers about best practices for working with shared components/patterns;
- Lead and oversee the user experience delivery from concept to launch, in partnership with UX architects, product managers, and engineering;
- Help deliver scalable design processes, tools, and practices for governance, workflows, and documentation for sharing; and
- Understand user needs, goals and behaviors and translates them into thoughtful user journeys.
