Good Shepherd Volunteers (GSV) partners with a variety of social service agencies to offer year-long opportunities serving women, children, and families affected by poverty, violence, and neglect.. GSVs live in community with other volunteers, receive benefits such as housing, health insurance, and a small stipend, and learn to live out our 4 Core Tenets: social justice, community, spirituality, and simplicity.
We offer positions in advocacy, domestic violence, education, juvenile justice, nonprofit support, public policy, and youth counseling. Our volunteers work side-by-side with experienced advocates, counselors, and educators, gaining a tremendous foundation for their future careers. Join us!
